Jogger strollers are those models that are explicitly suitable for jogging, skating or rollerblading. Please make sure that the manufacturer has designated your desired model for sporting purposes. Only then can you be sure that the stroller is safe even at high speeds and has been tested in such situations. Jogger strollers are often bought as a second stroller.

What should I look out for when buying a jogger pushchair?

Brake

With jogger pushchairs it is important that you can operate the brake by hand. This is especially important at high speeds, as you cannot quickly apply the brake with your foot while running.

Size of the wheels

You should also make sure that all the wheels are the same size. On other pushchairs, the front wheels are usually smaller than the rear wheels. However, this is impractical at higher speeds.

Fixed front wheels

If you want to jog, you should have fixed front wheels on your pushchair. Some joggers also allow you to lock the front wheels yourself. With swivelling wheels, the risk of tipping over is too high.

Scope of delivery

Check which individual parts are included in the scope of delivery. This way you can find out if you need to buy a rain cover or similar accessories.
